Shortly before 1:00 a.m. on July 25, 2025, a Greyhound bus traveling from Charlotte to Atlanta collided with a dump truck on I‑85 near the Woodruff Road exit in Greenville County. The bus carried approximately 33 passengers and one driver.
Following the crash:
The bus driver sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized.
11 passengers were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Remaining passengers were later transferred to a relief bus to continue their journey.
The incident remains under investigation by Greenville Police and relevant authorities.
