Every Review Is Real — and We Treat Them That Way
A quick word about how this page works, because review pages are where law firm websites most often stretch the truth. We don't paraphrase reviews, stitch quotes together, or "polish" anyone's grammar. We never solicit reviews from anyone who wasn't actually a client. And nothing appears on this page unless the client who wrote it said we could reprint it.
That standard means this page grows slower than it would at a firm with a marketing department. Tom is fine with that. Twenty-plus families across the Upstate took time they didn't owe him to write about their experience, all five stars — and the fastest way to dishonor that is to fake even one line of it.
Google isn't the only independent place to check on the firm, either. The Carolina Injury Lawyer is a BBB Accredited Business with an A+ rating, held since 2025 — a profile the Better Business Bureau maintains on its own terms, where any complaint would be public. Between Google's reviews and the BBB's file, you can verify how this practice treats people without taking a single sentence on this website on faith.
Reviews From Real Clients
Client reviews are reproduced below word-for-word from Google, with each reviewer's permission. While permissions are being gathered, you can read every review directly on Google — see the next section for how to find them.
Testimonials reflect each client's own experience. Every case is different, and a positive review is not a prediction or guarantee about the outcome of your case.
How Tom Works — the Part Reviews Can't Fully Capture
Reading reviews is really a way of asking: what would it be like to have this lawyer? Here is the honest answer, in three parts.
He comes to you. Tom personally drives to clients' homes, hospital rooms, and rehab facilities across Greenville and the surrounding counties. Few Upstate injury firms will do this. If you're recovering from surgery in Fountain Inn or caring for an injured parent outside Abbeville, the first meeting happens at your table, not his — read how it works on the I Come To You page.
You get his cell. Not a portal, not a case manager, not a receptionist trained to say "he's in a meeting." Every client gets Tom's personal cell number on day one and uses it for the life of the case.
One attorney, start to finish. The lawyer you meet at the free consultation is the lawyer who negotiates with the insurance company and the lawyer whose name — Thomas Spiro Conits — is on every filing. Your case is never handed down a hallway, because there is no hallway.
If you'd rather judge by outcomes than by promises, the Results page shows recent recoveries the way clients actually experience them: net, after fees and expenses.
"Every client gets my personal cell number. Call or text me directly — you'll never chase a case manager."
Clients hear back from me the same day — and for emergencies, anytime.
— Thomas Spiro Conits
Read Every Review on Google
Don't take this page's word for anything — Google hosts every review in full, and none of them can be edited or filtered by the firm. Search "The Carolina Injury Lawyer" on Google or Google Maps and open the reviews on the firm's profile. What you'll find is 20+ five-star Google reviews from clients across the Upstate.
If Tom was your lawyer
A review is the single most useful thing a past client can do for this small practice — more than any advertisement. If Tom handled your case and you have two minutes, find the profile the same way and write whatever is true. That's the only instruction: whatever is true.

If you can't come to me, I'll come to you.
I personally drive to clients' homes across Greenville and the surrounding counties — hospital rooms and kitchen tables included. You were just hurt; the last thing you need is a trip to a law office.
